Dry Sweet Vermiceli With Nut Recipe

This super easy and scrumptious sweet vermicelli loaded with dry fruits makes a quick fix when you are running short of time.

1/2 Cup(69.0 gm) Wheat Vermicelli
3/4 Cup(153.0 ml) Milk
1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Almond (Chopped)
1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Cashewnut (Chopped)
1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Pista (Chopped)
1 Tbsp(15.0 gm) Ghee
1.5 Tbsp(19.0 gm) Sugar
  • Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee in a frying pan at a low flame.

  • Add 1 tsp chopped almond, 1 tsp chopped cashew nut, 1 tsp chopped pista, roast until slightly browned and set aside.

  • Take another frying pan at a low flame and heat 1/2 tbsp ghee in it.

  • Add 1/2 cup wheat vermicelli and roast.

  • Once golden brown, add 1 cup milk, 1/8th cup sugar and mix well.

  • Cover and allow it to cook.

  • After a few minutes, once the milk is simmering add the previously roasted nuts mixture and mix well.

  • Garnish with chopped nuts.

  • Serve hot.
