Dried Fruits & Vegetable Pulao Recipe

Dried fruits and veg pulao is a basic Indian style rice that is aromatic, delicious, healthy & super quick to make for a meal. Pulao is a one pot rice dish made by cooking fragrant basmati rice with aromatic spices and herbs.

  • Prepreparation

    Cook 2 tbsp basmati rice.

  • Boil 2 tbsp peas

  • Heat 2 tsp oil in a kadai, add 2 tsp ghee, 8 cashew nuts and roast it well.

  • Add 2 cloves, 1 cardamom, 2 whole black pepper, 1 bay leaf, 1 star anise, 1/2 tsp jeera, 2 tbsp chopped onion and saute it well

  • Add 2 tbsp grated carrot, 2 tbsp chopped french beans, 1 tbsp cauliflower, 2 tbsp green peas

  • Saute it well

  • Add 1/2 tsp salt and mix it well

  • Cover and cook for 2 mins

  • Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste

  • Mix it well

  • Add the cooked basmati rice

  • Mix all the ingredients gently

  • Add 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Garnish with 1 tbsp raisins

  • Serve it hot.
