Gujrati Dhokla turned into an Italian pizza makes a healthy choice of a steamed soft fluffy dhokla topped with pizza toppings like vegetables, sauces and cheese makes a complete meal option.
Soak chana dal overnight and grind to make a paste.
For khaman dhokla
In a bowl, add dhokla batter, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste, 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/4th tsp fruit salt, 1/8th tsp haldi and mix.
Grease the plate with oil, pour the batter in the plate and put in the steamer.
Close the lid and steam for 15 min.
Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai, 1.5 tbsp chopped tomato, 1.5 tbsp chopped capsicum, 1 tbsp sweet corn, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste, 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1 tbsp pizza sauce and mix.
Spread 1 tbsp pizza sauce on dhokla, add veg mixture on it, 2 tbsp grated cheese, 1/4th tsp oregano,1/4th tsp red chilli flakes.
Place it on pan and till cheese melts.
