Dalia Pulao Recipe

Dalia has been a part of the Indian cuisine since ages. Made with broken wheat, it is easy to digest and is full of nutrition. It is high in fibre and is believed to be one of the best foods for weight loss. It can be made in several ways and is one of the healthiest options for breakfast/lunch and dinner.

1.0 Boiled Tbsp(11.0 gm) Peas
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(9.0 gm) Carrot
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(19.0 gm) French Beans
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(12.0 gm) Onion
1.0 Chopped Tsp(0.92 gm) Coriander Leaves
1/2 Grated Tsp(0.94 gm) Ginger
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Garlic
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/2 Powder Tsp(1.0 gm) Red Chilly
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil
100.0 Ml(100.0 ml) Water
  • Heat a kadai, add 1 1/2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped carrot, 1 tbsp chopped french beans, 1 tbsp peas, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste and saute it well.

  • Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, cooked dalia and mix it well.

  • Garnish with 1 tsp coriander leaves.
