Dal tadka is a delicious Indian lentil curry made with yellow lentils. It's easy to make, flavorful, and healthy. Naturally vegan and gluten free!
Pressure cook 2 tbsp tur dal with 1/2 tsp haldi and 1/4th tsp salt.
In a pan, add 1 tbsp ghee, add 1/2 tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp hing, 1 dry red chilly, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/8th tsp red chilly powder, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped tomato and 1/4th tsp haldi.
Saute it well and add this tempering to dal.
Serve it hot along with rice.
