- Step 1 In a pan, heat 1/2 tsp of oil.
- Step 2 Add 1/4 tsp each of mustard seeds and cumin seeds, and let them crackle.
- Step 3 Add 1 tbsp each of chopped onions and tomatoes, 2 tsp of gingergarlic paste, and 1/4 cup of chopped spinach, and sauté well.
- Step 4 Add 1/4 tsp each of turmeric powder, red chili powder, and mango powder, and mix in the spices.
- Step 5 Now, add the cooked red gram dal and mix well.
- Step 6 Give a Nestle Twist by adding kasuri methi.
- Step 7 Serve hot with steamed rice.
