Dal Kachori with Dates Chutney Recipe

1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera

1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Dry Mango Powder
1/8 Tsp(0.37 gm) Hing
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
For Frying(8.0 ml) Oil
2 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Suji
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
As Required(15.0 ml) Water
3/4 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Dates(Chopped)
1/8 Tbsp(2.0 gm) Jaggery(Powder)
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Saunf
1/8 Tsp(0.25 gm) Dry Ginger
1/8 Tsp(0.09 gm) Red Chilly(Powder)
1/8 Tbsp(1.0 gm) Dry Mango Powder
1/8 Tsp(0.98 gm) Black Salt
As Required(4.0 ml) Water
  • Prepreparation

    Soak 1 tbsp moong dal for 2 hours.

  • Coarsely grind moong dal.

  • For Stuffing

    In a mixing bowl, add crushed dal, 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp saunf, 1/8th tsp hing, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp salt and 1 tsp dry mango powder. Keep aside.

  • For Dough

    Add 2 tbsp wheat flour, 1 tbsp suji, 1/4th tsp salt, 1 tsp oil and a little water to knead it into a dough.

  • For Kachori

    Roll the dough, fill the stuffing, fold and seal.

  • Make into 4 balls.

  • Heat oil for frying and deep fry the kachoris.

  • Serve hot with dates chutney.
