Dal Gosht is a traditional Indian recipe made with mutton and a mix of pulses. provides a good amount of protein, carbs, vitamin, minerals and healthy fats. Goes perfectly with rice or naan.

  • Pre preparations

    Boil 50gms of mutton, 2 tbsp chana dal and ½ tbsp masoor dal.

  • For brown onion Fry ½ cup onion till it turns golden brown.

  • For Dal Gosht

    Take a pan and heat 2 tsp oil add 1/2 of prepared brown onions,1 tsp ginger garlic paste,2 tbsp chopped tomatoes and saute till tomato turns mushy.

  • Add 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp garam masala,1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp salt and saute till oil separates.

  • Add water as required.

  • Add boiled chana dal, boiled masoor dal and 50 gm boiled mutton pieces and mix well, add water as required.

  • Bring to boil and 1/2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 1/2 tbsp chopped pudina and d remaining brown onions.

  • Serve hot.
