Dahi Vada Recipe

2 Tbsp(30.0 gm) Urad Dal

2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Coriander Leaves (Chopped)

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Sugar

1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Jeera
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Black Pepper

1/8 Tsp(0.27 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)

1/8 Tsp(0.22 gm) Jeera Powder
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt

For Frying(7.0 ml) Oil

As Required(60.0 ml) Water
  • In a bowl, add black urad dal paste, 1 tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper powder and mix.

  • Heat oil for frying, put small portions of dough in oil and fry till golden brown

  • Soak the wada in water for 5 min and queeze out excess water.

  • In a bowl, add 1/3 cup Curd, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/2 tsp sugar and whisk.

  • Pour the curd on soaked wada

  • Add 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp jeera powder, 1 tsp coriander leaves on top.
