Dahi Methi Murgh Recipe

A chicken curry with Fenugreek leaves (methi) is a hearty and healthy dish filled with protein, calcium and fiber is just perfect for a quick dinner dish.

50 Gm(50.0 gm) Chicken, Breast

1 Cup(51.0 gm) Methi Leaves (Chopped)

2 Tbsp(29.0 gm) Curd

1.5 Tbsp(12.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)
ingredients
1 Tbsp(4.0 gm) Methi Leaves (For Garnishing)

1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper (Powder)

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

2 Tsp(7.0 ml) Oil

As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • In a small bowl, mix well and marinate 50 gms of chicken with 2 tbsp curd, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1/4th tsp green chilli paste

  • Take a kadhai and heat 2 tsp oil.

  • To that add 1.5 tbsp chopped onion and saute till translucent.

  • Then add the marinated chicken and saute well.

  • To the chicken mixture, add 1 cup methi leaves and mix well.

  • When the volume of methi reduces, add 1/4th tsp salt and water.

  • Cook till the water evaporates.

  • Serve hot.
