Dahi Kachori Recipe

Protein packed, energy dense fried kachori, served with Nestlé A+ Curd and chutneys are a well known chaat option loved by all.

1 Tbsp(14.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
1 Tbsp(11.0 gm) Pomegranate
2 Tsp(4.0 gm) Sev
2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Coriander Leaves(Chopped)
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(0.64 gm) Saunf
1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Dry Mango Powder
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
For Frying(8.0 ml) Oil
1/8 Cup(3.0 gm) Dates(Chopped)
1/4 Tbsp(4.0 gm) Jaggery(Powder)
1/8 Tbsp(2.0 gm) Tamarind
1/8 Tsp(0.17 gm) Red Chilly(Powder)
1/8 Tsp(0.08 gm) Chaat Masala
1/8 Tsp(0.09 gm) Salt
As Required(7.0 ml) Water
  • Prepreparation

    Soak 1 tbsp green gram dal.

  • Grind it coarsely

  • For Stuffing

    In a mixing bowl, add 1 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp saunf, 1/8th tsp hing, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp salt, coarsely ground dal and 1/2 tsp dry mango powder. Mix well and keep aside.

  • For Dough

    In a mixing bowl add 2 tbsp wheat flour, 1 tbsp suji, 1/4th tsp salt, 1 tsp oil and a little water to knead the dough.

  • For Kachori

    Divide the dough into 4 parts and roll out small balls of it.

  • Roll it, fill in the stuffing and seal it.

  • Heat oil for frying and deep fry till golden brown.

  • Flatten the fried kachoris, place it in a serving dish, top it with 1 tbsp Nestlé A+ Curd, 2 tsp dates imli chutney, 2 tsp sev and 1 tbsp pomegranate.

  • Serve fresh and crispy.
