For Dabeli Mixture
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp hing, 2 tsp dabeli masala, 1/4th cup boiled and mashed potatoes, 1 tbsp grated carrot, 1 tbsp grated beetroot, 1 tbsp julienne capsicum, 1/4th tsp sugar, 1 tsp tamarind pulp, and 1/8 tsp salt to taste.
Mix and combine well.
Add few 1 tsp freshly chopped coriander leaves mix well and allow the mixture to cool down.
For Cheela
In a blending jar, add soaked moong dal, 1/2 number green chillies,1 tsp chopped ginger and 1/8th tsp salt.
Grind to a fine paste, adjust the consistency by adding water.
The consistency should be similar to dosa batter.
Pour a big spoonful of batter to make cheela on a hot tawa, pour 1/4th tsp ghee over the cheela.
Spread a spoonful of dabeli mixture, top it with 1 tbsp chopped onions, 1 tbsp masala peanuts, 1 tbsp tamarind chutney, 1 tbsp freshly grated coconut, 1 tbsp pomegranate. Roll it like a dosa then cut into the thick pieces and serve hot.
