- Step 1
For Dabeli Mixture
Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp hing, 1 tbsp dabeli masala, 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes, 1/4th tsp sugar, 1/2 tbsp tamarind pulp, and1/8 tsp salt to taste. Mix and combine well.
- Step 2
Add few 1 tsp freshly chopped coriander leaves mix well and allow the mixture to cool down.
- Step 3
For Cheela
In a blending jar, add the soaked and washed moong dal, 1/2 number green chillies,1 tsp chopped ginger and 1/8th tsp salt. Grind to a fine paste, adjust the consistency by adding water. The consistency should be similar to dosa batter.
- Step 4
Pour a big spoonful of batter to make cheela on a hot tawa, pour 1/4th tsp ghee over the cheela.
- Step 5
Spread a spoonful of dabeli mixture, top it with 1 tbsp chopped onions, 1 tbsp masala peanuts, 1 tbsp tamarind chutney, 1 tbsp freshly grated coconut, 2 tbsp pomegranate. Roll it like a dosa then cut into the thick pieces and serve hot.
