Steps
- Step 1 For Dabeli MixtureHeat 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp hing, 1 tbsp dabeli masala, 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes, 1/4th tsp sugar, 1/2 tbsp tamarind pulp, and1/8 tsp salt to taste
- Step 2 Mix and combine well
- Step 3 Add few 1 tsp freshly chopped coriander leaves mix well and allow the mixture to cool down
- Step 4 For CheelaIn a blending jar, add the soaked and washed moong dal, 1/2 number green chillies,1 tsp chopped ginger and 1/8th tsp salt
- Step 5 Grind to a fine paste, adjust the consistency by adding water
- Step 6 The consistency should be similar to dosa batter
- Step 7 Pour a big spoonful of batter to make cheela on a hot tawa, pour 1/4th tsp ghee over the cheela
- Step 8 Spread a spoonful of dabeli mixture, top it with 1 tbsp chopped onions, 1 tbsp masala peanuts, 1 tbsp tamarind chutney, 1 tbsp freshly grated coconut, 2 tbsp pomegranate
- Step 9 Roll it like a dosa then cut into the thick pieces and serve hot
