These Vietnamese sweet potato pancakes are an excellent snack or appetizer served in lettuce wraps. Double the recipe and make it a meal! Made from grated sweet potatoes and spices, they're a versatile dish for any time of day.

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1 Tbsp(20.0 gm) Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Tomato Ketchup
2 Number(36.0 gm) Lettuce
10 Ml(10.0 ml) Water
2 Tsp(7.0 ml) Oil
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper
1 Tbsp(2.0 gm) Corn Flour
1 Tbsp(14.0 gm) Rice Flour
1/4 Tsp(0.53 gm) Dry Mango Powder
1/2 Boiled Diced Cup(53.0 gm) Sweet Potato
  • In a mixing bowl add 1/2 cup grated sweet potato along with 1 tbsp rice flour, 1 tsp cornflour and 1/4th tsp of some seasonings, such as mango powder, green chilli paste, salt, and black pepper powder.

  • Mix gently and add water if required.

  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and put small pancakes in it.

  • Shallow fry and cook till it crisps.

  • Now, take a lettuce leaf and spread 1 tbsp tomato ketchup and mayonnaise in it.

  • Put a pancake and wrap the leaf around it.

  • Serve Fresh.
