Creamy Cheese Toast Recipe

A delicious, Creamy Cheesy Toast is a creamy vegetable mixture seasoned with a few spices and spread over toasted whole wheat bread, providing an excellent way to incorporate all of the vegetables into your child's diet.

1.0 4"(32.0 gm) Brown Wheat Bread
2.0 Tbsp(23.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
2.0 Boiled Tbsp(18.0 gm) Sweet Corn
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(15.0 gm) Capsicum
1.0 Grated Tbsp(8.0 gm) Cheese
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(10.0 gm) Red Capsicum
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
0.13 Powder Tsp(0.37 gm) Black Pepper
0.13 Tsp(0.14 gm) Oregano
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Butter
0.75 Tsp(3.0 gm) Butter
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
  • Prepreparation,

  • Boil 1/2 tbsp sweet corn and keep aside.

  • For the toast,

  • In a pan add 1 tsp butter.

  • When the butter melts, add 1 brown wheat bread and toast evenly on both sides. Keep aside.

  • In the same pan, melt 3 tsp butter

  • To that add 1tsp wheat flour and mix well.

  • Add 2 tbsp Nestlé A+ Milk. Whisk till the flour is mixed properly without any lumps.

  • Then add 1 tbsp grated cheese, 1/2 tbsp sweet corn, 1/2 tbsp chopped green capsicum, 1/2 tbsp chopped red capsicum and mix well.

  • Season the mixture with 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp black pepper powder, 1/8th tsp oregano and mix well.

  • Once mixed properly, spread the mixture over the whole wheat toast.

  • Cut the bread in halve and serve hot with sauce.
