Cream of Spinach Soup Recipe

Easy to cook, liquid food made with a combination of spinach, vegetables and seasonings makes a creamy, warm appetiser.

1.0 Cup(54.0 gm) Palak
1.0 Chopped Tsp(3.0 gm) Onion
1.0 Chopped Tsp(2.0 gm) Garlic
2.0 Tbsp(21.0 gm) Cream
0.13 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Butter
30.0 Ml(30.0 ml) Water
  • Melt 1 tbsp butter in a frying pan at a low flame.

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped onion and saute.

  • Once the garlic and onions are slightly reduced add blanched spinach.

  • Further, fold in 2 tbsp cream and add 1/8 tsp salt.

  • Pour in a required amount of water and blend to obtain a souplike consistency.

  • Allow the soup to simmer, turn off the flame, transfer to a serving bowl.

  • Serve hot.
