- Step 1 In a mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup besan,1 tbsp rice flour, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp haldi,1/2 tsp coriander powder.
- Step 2 Following this add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp tamarind pulp,1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp jaggery powder and 1/2 tsp oil.
- Step 3 Add required amount of water and mix well.
- Step 4 On a cutting board place colocasia leaves and spread the mixture on the leaf. Fold the leaves and spread the mixture on the folded leaves. Roll the leaves and place it in a steamer. Close the lid and steam.
- Step 5 Cut the alu wadi into slices.
- Step 6 In a pan add 1 tsp oil. Place the alu wadis and shallow fry it. Flip and fry.
- Step 7 Serve hot.
