Coconut Sago Patty Recipe

This snack time energy rich recipe is easy to make and easily packed in a lunchbox as well. Pair it with some mint chutney and relish its mouth watering flavours.

1/4 Boiled Mashed Cup(33.0 gm) Potato
2 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil
1/4 Cup(23.0 gm) Sabudana
1 Grated Tbsp(6.0 gm) Fresh Coconut
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/2 Chopped Tsp(0.46 gm) Coriander Leaves
  • In a mixing bowl, add soaked sabudana, mashed potato, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste, 1 tbsp grated fresh coconut, 1/4 tsp jeera, and 1/2 salt.

  • Mix all the ingredients well.

  • Add 1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves and mix again.

  • Roll the mixture into balls and press gently.

  • In a kadhai, heat oil for frying.

  • Deep fry the patties till they turn golden brown.

  • Serve hot with mint chutney
