Coconut Rice Recipe

Easy and delicious South Indian Coconut Rice! This rice uses freshly grated coconut and minimal spices for that amazing coconut flavor!

10 No.(1.0 gm) Kadi Patta

1/4 Tsp(0.23 gm) Coriander Leaves (Chopped)

1/4 Tsp(0.95 gm) Black Urad Dal

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Chana Dal

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt

  • Heat kadhai, add 1 tsp cooking oil, 1/4 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp black gram dal, 1/2 tsp Green gram dal and 10 no.curry leaves, let it crackle.

  • Now, add 4 no. cashews, 1/2 cup grated coconut and roast well till golden brown.

  • Then, add 1 cup cooked rice, 0.5 tsp Salt and garnish with coriander leaves.
