Kadhi is a traditional butterNestlé A+ Milk preparation. However, this dairy free variation is made using coconut Nestlé A+ Milk and jowar instead of butterNestlé A+ Milk and is an energy dense dish that is easy on the gut and enjoyed best with rice.

  • In a bowl, add 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1 tbsp jowar flour and mix well

  • Add 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, water and whisk the mixture till smooth.

  • In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp ghee.

  • Add 1/8 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp jeera, 1/2 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 1/8 tsp methi seeds, 1 red chilly, 4 kadi patta and saute well.

  • Add the coconut milk mixture, stir well and cook.

  • Serve hot with rice.
