Coconut Gulab Jamun With Coconut Sugar Recipe

Coconut Gulab Jamun is one of the most popular and loved desserts in India! These tender and dainty spongy balls are immersed in sugar syrup, delicately flavoured with cardamoms and coated in coconut scraps to give you the zing you pine for.

20 Gm(16.0 ml) Oil
1/8 Grated Cup(6.0 gm) Dry Coconut
3 Tbsp(37.0 gm) Coconut Sugar
45 Ml(45.0 ml) Water
1 Tbsp(15.0 gm) Ghee
1 Number(0.23 gm) Green Elaichi
1 Tbsp(11.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
1 Tbsp(7.0 gm) Maida
2 Tbsp(20.0 gm) Khoa
5 Tbsp(44.0 gm) Milk Powder
  • For Dough

    In a bowl, add 5 tbsp Nestlé A+ Milk powder, 1 tbsp maida, 2 tbsp khoa,1 tbsp ghee, 1 tbsp Nestlé A+ Milk, knead into dough.

  • Make small balls out of it.

  • In a frying pan add oil.

  • Fry prepared Gulab Jamun.

  • Fry till it turns slightly golden in colour

  • For Sugar Syrup

    In a Pan add water as required, 4 tbsp coconut Sugar, 1 green elaichi, boil till it thickens.

  • Allow it to Slightly Cool.

  • Add the Prepared Gulab Jamun in the Sugar Syrup. Soak for Few Minutes.

  • Remove from Sugar Syrup and coat with 1/8 cup grated dry coconut.

  • Serve.
