- Step 1 In a blender, add 2 tbsp chopped fresh coconut, 1/2 tsp chopped ginger, 1 tbsp chana dal, 1/4 tsp tamarind paste, 1 tsp chopped green chilli, and 1/4 tsp salt.
- Step 2 For a Nestle Twist, add white sesame seeds.
- Step 3 Add water if required and blend it into a paste.
- Step 4 For the tadka, heat a pan with 1/2 tsp oil, add 1/2 tsp rai and allow it to crackle.
- Step 5 Add 4 kadi patta leaves and 1/4 tsp urad dal.
- Step 6 Add this tadka to the chutney and serve.
