Cilantro Onion Soup Recipe

Cilantro onion soup is a heartwarming, beautiful, hearty, full-flavoured soup. This nutrient-dense soup is creamy without cream, slightly sweet from a base of onions, and as cosy as your favourite blanket.

1/4 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Coconut Oil
1 Chopped Tbsp(7.0 gm) Coriander Leaves
150 Ml(150.0 ml) Water
1/8 Powder Tsp(0.37 gm) Black Pepper
1/8 Diced Cup(15.0 gm) Onion
  • Heat 1 tsp butter in a frying pan at a low flame, add 1/8th cup diced Onion and sauté.

  • Once the onions turn slightly transparent, 2 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves and pour in a little water.

  • Add 1/8th tsp salt along with 1/4th tsp black pepper, mix properly and cook for a few minutes.

  • Take off the flame, pour the soup in a blender and blend it till a soup like consistency is obtained.

  • Garnish with a coriander leaf.

  • Serve hot.
