Prepreparation
Soak chole.
- Step 2
Pressure cook chole & grind coarsely.
- Step 3
For dhokla
In a mixing bowl add chole mixture, 1 tbsp chopped methi leaves,1/4 tsp haldi,1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste,1/2 tsp fruit salt and a little water and mix well.
- Step 4
Grease stainless steel plate and pour the prepared batter.

Cover & cook in steamer.
- Step 6
For tadka
In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil, add 1/8 tsp rai, 4 kadi patta, 1/8 tsp hing and allow to crackle.
- Step 7
Add tadka on dhokla. Garnish it with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 8
Serve chola dal methi dhokla with chutney.
