Chickpeas Curry Recipe

1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly Powder

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt

  • Soak and boil 1/4th cup of chole and keep aside.

  • Continue preparation by adding 1 tsp oil into a heated kadhai.

  • Next, add 1/2 tsp jeera, 1.5 tbsp each of chopped onion and tomato.

  • Add 1/2 tsp of salt, 1.5 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute well.

  • Add 1/4th tsp each of red chilli powder, haldi, garam masala, 1 tbsp chole masala and 1/8th tsp hing.

  • Saute all the ingredients well.

  • Add the soaked and boiled chole.

  • Add sufficient water, mix well, cover the kadhai with a lid and let it cook for 10 mins.

  • Finally, garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves and white sesame seeds for a nutritional twist.
