Chinese Chicken Salad Recipe

This crunchy, fresh and colourful Chinese chicken salad is a great low carb option packed with nutrition and keeps you feeling fuller longer.

1/4 Cup(35.0 gm) Chicken, Breast (Shredded)

1/3 Cup(32.0 gm) Cabbage(Julienne)

1/4 Cup(36.0 gm) Capsicum(Chopped)

1/8 Cup(18.0 gm) Carrot(Chopped)
ingredients
1 Tbsp(6.0 gm) Spring Onion(Chopped)
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.63 gm) Black Pepper

1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Vinegar

1 Tsp(5.0 gm) Soya Sauce

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
  • First, boil and shred 1/4th cup of boneless chicken pieces.

  • Next, add 1/3rd cup of Julienne cabbage, 1/4th cup of chopped capsicum, 1/8th cup of chopped carrot and mix well.

  • Add the boiled, shredded chicken.

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped spring onions,1 tsp soya sauce.

  • Season with 1/4th tsp each of salt and black pepper powder.

  • Drizzle 1 tsp vinegar lightly over the mix.

  • Toss the salad thoroughly and finish with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds on top.
