Oats Chicken Veggie Momos are steamed dumplings from Tibet and Nepal origin. Making it with whole wheat flour and oats gives you the goodness of complex carbs and fiber while chicken adds to the protein content of the dish.
Per Serving: 1 Number - 150.0 gm
In a bowl, add 2 tbsp whole wheat flour, 1 tbsp oats flour, 1/8th tsp salt, water and knead into a soft dough.
In a kadhai, 2 tsp oil, 1 tsp grated garlic, 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste, 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute well.
Now, add 1/4th cup minced chicken, 1 tbsp grated carrot, 1 tbsp chopped spring onion, 1 tbsp julienne cabbage and saute well.
Add 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder and mix well.
Close the lid and cook for 5 min on low flame.
Roll out dough into circular shape, fill the stuffing and seal.
Steam the momos and serve hot !
