Chicken Shezwan Grilled Recipe

Not only does chicken taste good and make you strong, it also is very effective turning your frown upside down. Chicken contains tryptophan that gives you that comforting feeling after a nice bowl of warm soup. With that chicken also increases your serotonin level that gets your mood enhanced.

  • To make the marinade, take a mixing bowl to add 2 tbsp curd, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp dry mango powder, 1/4th tsp garam masala powder, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp salt and mix it well together.

  • Take 100gm of chicken and make slits on the chicken.

  • Place the slit chicken in the marinade and using your hand coat it properly on both sides with the marinade. Keep aside.

  • Take a griller and melt 1 tbsp butter.

  • Place the previously marinated chicken in the griller and roast it on both sides to make tandoori chicken.

  • Once golden brown on both sides, take it off the flame and keep aside.

  • To make the sauce, heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan at a low flame.

  • Add 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1.5 tbsp schezwan chutney, 1 tsp soya sauce, 2 tsp red chilli sauce and sauté.

  • Add the previously cooked tandoori chicken and stir fry it evenly on all sides.

  • Garnish with lemon slices.

  • Serve hot.
