Chicken Rassa Recipe

50 Gm(50.0 gm) Chicken, Breast
1/4 Cup(36.0 ml) Coconut Milk
1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion(Chopped)
1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Tomato(Chopped)
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Coriander Leaves(Chopped)
1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Red Chilly(Powder)
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil
As Required(50.0 ml) Water
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadhai.

  • Add 1/4 tsp jeera in hot oil and allow it to crackle.

  • Now, add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute till they turn slight brown.

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp garam masala, and 1/4 tsp salt and allow to cook for a while.

  • Add 50 gm chicken pieces and mix well.

  • Add sufficient water to adjust consistency.

  • Cover with a lid and cook until chicken gets dry.

  • Add 1/4 cup coconut milk and cook well.

  • Finally, garnish with 2 tsp coriander leaves and serve hot.
