Chicken Pulao Recipe

Chicken pulao is a quick and easy one-pot chicken and rice meal is a great gateway dish to Indian cuisine. It is aromatic and mildly flavored with Indian spices.

1/2 Shredded Cup(70.0 gm) Chicken, Breast
3.0 Tbsp(39.0 gm) Rice
2.0 Tbsp(21.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
1/4 Chopped Cup(28.0 gm) Onion
1.0 Chopped Tsp(2.0 gm) Ginger
1.0 Chopped Tsp(2.0 gm) Garlic
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
3.0 Number(0.27 gm) Black Pepper
1.0 Number(0.11 gm) Cloves
1.0 Number(1.0 gm) Star Anise
1.0 Number(0.3 gm) Bay Leaf
1.0 Number(0.23 gm) Green Elaichi
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

150.0 Ml(150.0 ml) Water
  • Heat 1.5 tsp oil in a kadai, add 3 black pepper, 1 clove, 1star anise, 1 green elaichi, 1 bay leaf, 1/4th cup chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1/4th tsp salt and give it a stir.

  • Add 1/8th cup chicken, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1.5 tsp Nestlé A+ Curd, stir and cook it well till the chicken is done.

  • Add the cooked rice.

  • Mix it well.

  • Add 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.

  • Let it cook

  • Serve it hot with raita.
