Chicken Potato Chops Recipe

Soft, crispy shallow fried tikkis made with energy dense potatoes and protein dense chicken, coated in egg and bread crumbs to make a crisp outer covering make a perfect snack option.

  • Prepreparation

    Boil & mash 1 cup diced potato.

  • For chops

    Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.

  • Add 2 tbsp chopped onions, 3 cloves and saute till golden brown.

  • Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp green chilly paste and mix.

  • Add 100 g of minced chicken and saute well.

  • Add water to get the required consistency.

  • Now add 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp garam masala, cover and allow to cook.

  • Fill the mixture in boiled and mashed potatoes and make tikkis.

  • Coat in seasoned egg, then with bread crumbs and keep aside.

  • Heat oil for frying.

  • Shallow fry the prepared tikkis until light brown on both sides.

  • Serve hot with your choice of dip.
