Soft, crispy shallow fried tikkis made with energy dense potatoes and protein dense chicken, coated in egg and bread crumbs to make a crisp outer covering make a perfect snack option.
Boil & mash 1 cup diced potato.
Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.
Add 2 tbsp chopped onions, 3 cloves and saute till golden brown.
Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp green chilly paste and mix.
Add 100 g of minced chicken and saute well.
Add water to get the required consistency.
Now add 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp garam masala, cover and allow to cook.
Fill the mixture in boiled and mashed potatoes and make tikkis.
Coat in seasoned egg, then with bread crumbs and keep aside.
Heat oil for frying.
Shallow fry the prepared tikkis until light brown on both sides.
Serve hot with your choice of dip.
