Chicken Potato Chops Recipe

Chicken Potato Chops is a soft, crispy shallow fried tikkis made with energy dense potatoes and protein dense chicken, coated in egg and bread crumbs to make a crisp outer covering and a perfect snack option.

1/8 Cup(14.0 gm) Bread Crumbs
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(16.0 gm) Onion
15.0 Gm(15.0 gm) Egg
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper
1/8 Tsp(0.29 gm) Haldi
3.0 Number(0.33 gm) Cloves
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
3.0 Tsp(10.0 ml) Oil
50.0 Ml(50.0 ml) Water
  • For chops

    Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.

  • Add 2 tbsp chopped onions, 3 cloves and saute till golden brown.

  • Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste and mix.

  • Add 100 gms of minced chicken and saute well.

  • Add water to get the required consistency.

  • Now add 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp garam masala, cover and allow to cook.

  • Fill the mixture in boiled and mashed potatoes and make tikkis.

  • Coat in seasoned egg, then with bread crumbs and keep aside.

  • Heat oil for frying.

  • Shallow fry the prepared tikkis until light brown on both sides.

  • Serve hot with your choice of dip.
