Chicken Potato Chops Recipe

Soft, crispy shallow fried tikkis made with energy dense potatoes and protein dense chicken, coated in egg and bread crumbs to make a crisp outer covering make a perfect snack option.

100gm(100.0 gm) Chicken (Minced)
2 Tbsp(16.0 gm) Onion(Chopped )
1 No.(15.0 gm) Egg (Without Shell)
1/8 Cup(14.0 gm) Bread Crumbs
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
1/8 Tsp(0.29 gm) Haldi
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
3 No.(0.33 gm) Cloves
1/4 Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper Powder(Seasoning)
1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt(Seasoning)
1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt(Mixture)
3 Tsp(10.0 ml) Oil
As Required(80.0 ml) Water
  • For chops

    Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.

  • Add 2 tbsp chopped onions, 3 cloves and saute till golden brown.

  • Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste and mix.

  • Add 100 gms of minced chicken and saute well.

  • Add water to get the required consistency.

  • Now add 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp garam masala, cover and allow to cook.

  • Fill the mixture in boiled and mashed potatoes and make tikkis.

  • Coat in seasoned egg, then with bread crumbs and keep aside.

  • Heat oil for frying.

  • Shallow fry the prepared tikkis until light brown on both sides.

  • Serve hot with your choice of dip.
