Steps
- Step 1 Heat 2 tbsp mustard oil in a pan until it starts smoking and turn the flame off and let it cool down to room temperature
- Step 2 Grind the spice mix ingredients, 5 no
- Step 3 whole dried red chillies, 1/2 tsp of each methi seeds, saunf and black pepper powder, 1 tbsp coriander seeds, 1 tsp rai, 1/4th tsp of each haldi, garam masala and hing, 1/2 tbsp dry mango powder in a mixer/grinder to a fine powder
- Step 4 Heat the oil again and add 10 no
- Step 5 garlic cloves, 10 no
- Step 6 kadi patta, chicken pieces and cook on a medium flame
- Step 7 Add the pickle spice mix once the chicken is half cooked followed by 1/2 tsp salt
- Step 8 Stir
- Step 9 Cook until the chicken is completely cooked
- Step 10 Turn the flame off and let it cool down to room temperature
- Step 11 Lipsmacking Chicken Pickle is ready to eat
