Prepreparation
- Step 1 Soak 1.5 tbsp whole masoor for 15 minutes.
- Step 2 Soak 1.5 tbsp basmati rice for 15 minutes.

For khichdi
- Step 1 In a heated pressure cooker add 2 tsp ghee.
- Step 2 Now add whole spices like 1 bay leaf, 1/2 tsp jeera and allow it to crackle.
- Step 3 Add 1/8 cup julienne onions and saute till golden brown.
- Step 4 Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 2 tbsp fresh peas, 2 tbsp shredded chicken and mix it well.
- Step 5 Add 1/2 tsp salt, and water as required.
- Step 6 Add soaked masoor dal and bring to a boil.
- Step 7 Now add soaked rice, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Step 8 Give a Nestle Twist by adding kasuri methi.
- Step 9 Allow to cook for 3 whistles.
- Step 10 Serve hot with Nestlé A+ Curd, raita or chutney.
