Chicken Masala Recipe

Masala Chicken is a traditional non-vegetarian recipe, which is a delectable blend of aromatic spices and tender chicken. This North Indian chicken recipe is perfect for special occasions and can be served with rice, butter naan or chapati.

  • In a kadhai, heat 2 tsp oil

  • Add 1/4 tsp jeera and allow to crackle

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute till golden brown

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped tomato and fry

  • Now, add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp garam masala, and 1/4th tsp salt

  • Then, add 50 gm chicken pieces and coat well in spices.

  • Add sufficient water to adjust consistency, stir and allow to cook.

  • Garnish with 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
