Masala Chicken is a traditional non-vegetarian recipe, which is a delectable blend of aromatic spices and tender chicken. This North Indian chicken recipe is perfect for special occasions and can be served with rice, butter naan or chapati.
In a kadhai, heat 2 tsp oil
Add 1/4 tsp jeera and allow to crackle
Add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute till golden brown
Add 1 tbsp chopped tomato and fry
Now, add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp garam masala, and 1/4th tsp salt
Then, add 50 gm chicken pieces and coat well in spices.
Add sufficient water to adjust consistency, stir and allow to cook.
Garnish with 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
