This delicious Indo-Chinese dish fuels the body's energy needs by providing a good amount of fats, carbs, and protein.
Marinate chicken cubes with 1 tbsp cornflour and beaten egg and 1/4th tsp Salt.
Mix well and keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes to tenderize the chicken.
Heat oil for deep frying and fry the chicken cubes till they are well cooked and the outer layer turns crispy.
Now in a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, add 1 tsp grated garlic.
and 1/2 tsp green chilli paste and saute well.
Add 1/4th cup diced onion, 1/4th cup each of diced red and green capsicum, and saute without overcooking the veggies.
Add 2 tsp soya sauce, 1 tsp vinegar, 1/4th tsp salt, 1 tbsp honey, 2 tsp red chilli sauce, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder and mix well.
Add 1/2 tbsp cornflour slurry and mix well.
Add water to adjust consistency and add 1 tbsp chopped spring onion and mix well.
When the gravy thickens add fried chicken pieces and mix well.
Tasty Chicken Manchurian is ready to serve.
