This sweet and sour protein rice soup is quite filling and can be served on any occasion. It can be enjoyed by people of all age groups because it's loaded with lip-smacking vegetables and hearty chicken.
Melt 1/2 tsp butter in a frying pan at a low flame and add 1/2 tbsp garlic, 1 tsp chopped green chilli, 50gm of chicken and sauté.
Once the chicken is slightly browned, add 1 tbsp chopped carrot,1 tbsp chopped capsicum green, 1 tbsp chopped mushroom, 1 tbsp chopped spring onion and sauté.
Along with the required amount of water, add 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1.5 tsp soya sauce, previously dissolved 1 tsp cornflour in water and 1/2 a whisked egg.
Stirring continuously, bring the soup to a boil and allow it to cook for a few more minutes.
