  • Prepreparation

    Soak 5 cashew nuts, 1/2 tbsp khas khas, 5 peeled almond and blend into a paste.

  • Deep fry 1/8th cup julienne cut onions and blend it into paste.

  • In 50 gms chicken, add 1 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp garam masala powder, 1/4th cup curd and marinate for 30 min.

  • Puree 1/4th cup diced tomato and keep aside.

  • For Korma

    In a kadhai, heat 1/2 tbsp ghee.

  • Add whole spices like 2 green elaichis,, 2 black peppercorns, and 1/2 a stick of cinnamon and saute well.

  • Then, add 1/2 tsp jeera , marinated chicken, prepared fried onion paste and the nut paste.

  • Season with 1/4th tsp salt and mix well.

  • Then, add pureed tomato and mix well again.

  • Add 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, and mix well.

  • Add sufficient water and mix again.

  • Cover the pan with a lid and cook until the chicken is tender.

  • Serve hot with rice.
