Prepreparation
- Step 1 In a pressure cooker, in 2 tsp moong dal, 2 tsp tur dal,2 tsp urad dal, 1/4 cup diced brinjal, 1/8 cup diced pumpkin, 1/8 cup diced potato, 1/8 cup chopped methi leaves, 1 tbsp chopped pudina, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 2 Pressure cook for 2 whistles and blend.

For chicken dhansak
- Step 1 In a pressure cooker, heat 1 tbsp ghee.
- Step 2 Add 1/4th cup chopped onions and saute till golden brown.
- Step 3 Add 1/8th cup chopped tomato, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp garam masala powder, 1/2 tsp salt and mix well.
- Step 4 Now add 100 g chicken, add water as required.
- Step 5 Add the prepared blended mixture in the gravy and mix well.
- Step 6 Cover & cook for 4 whistles until the chicken is cooked.
- Step 7 Give a nestle twist by adding kasuri methi.
- Step 8 Serve hot chicken dhansak with roti or rice.
