Goan Chicken Curry Recipe

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadhai

  • Add in 6 no. Black pepper, 1/4th tsp jeera

  • Fry 1/4th cup chopped onion till light brown, once it starts turning brown add 1/4th cup chopped tomato and coconut paste. Mix together and allow to cook.

  • Now add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4th tsp salt and saute well

  • Add 50 gm chicken pieces and mix it well with masala, once the chicken is partially cooked, adjust consistency by adding sufficient water

  • Mix well and cover with lid to cook completely. Finally, garnish with 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice and chapatis.
