Chicken chettinad is a classic south-Indian recipe, from the cuisine of chettinad. It consists of variety of spices. This dish is known to be quite a fiery one. It goes perfectly well with parathas and equally good with plain boiled rice.

Take a kadhai and heat 2 tbsp oil.
Add 1/4 tsp jeera, 1/3 cup chopped onion, coconut paste,1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp salt, chettinad powder and saute well.
Then add 1/4 tsp haldi, 60 g chopped chicken and saute well.
Add water as required, cover and cook till chicken turns soft.
