Homemade Chicken Cheese Burger Recipe

Chicken burger makes a great combination of carbs, protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals by adding up vegetables. Also the cheese adds in the goodness of calcium. A healthy yet tasty option for your child to snack on.

1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala

1/4 Tsp(0.38 gm) Red Chilly Powder

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Ghee

1.5 Tbsp(12.0 ml) Oil
  • Prepreparation

    Season 1 egg with red chilly powder and salt and keep aside.

  • For Burger

    In a blender take 50 gm of chicken, 1/8th tsp red chilly powder, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp ghee, 1/4th tsp garam masala and grind all the ingredients together.

  • Once all the ingredients are evenly distributed, shape them into a cutlet, coat with seasoned egg and then again with breadcrumbs.

  • Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the cutlet.

  • Once golden brown, take it out of the pan, put it on a paper towel and keep aside.

  • For the final assembly of burger, take a burger bun and cut it into 2 halves.

  • On the lower half of the bun put 1 lettuce leaf, spread 1 tsp mayonnaise, follow this by putting the previously cooked chicken cutlet, 1 cheese slice, 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of onion and cover with the other half of the bun.

  • Serve immediately with ketchup.
