For Short Crust Pastry
- Step 1 In a bowl add 1/2 cup wheat flour, 2 tbsp butter, and mix it well to a crumbly texture
- Step 2 Add 1 tbsp jaggery powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1.5 tbsp Nestlé A+ Milk, water as required, and knead into a dough.
- Step 3 Roll out dough in a round shape then place in the mold and trim sides of the dough.
- Step 4 Make strips from the trimmed dough.

For Pie
- Step 1 In a bowl add crushed cherries, 1 tsp jaggery powder, 1/4 tsp lemon juice,1/2 tsp cinnamon powder, 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder, and mix well.
- Step 2 Fill the mixture in mold and cover with dough strips.
- Step 3 Brush with 1 tsp butter and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 min.
- Step 4 Serve warm
