Chenna Kofta Kadhi Recipe

1/4 Cup(60.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
2 Tbsp(19.0 gm) Besan
1 Tsp(5.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera

As Required(120.0 ml) Water
  • Prepreparation

    Boil and mash 2 tbsp potato

  • Grate 3 tbsp paneer

  • For chhena kofta

  • In a big bowl, take 3 tbsp grated paneer, add 2 tbsp boiled mashed potato, 1 tbsp besan, 1/4th red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp dry mango powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp garam masala powder, 1/8th tsp salt and combine it well

  • Make small balls

  • In a pan, half fry the made balls

  • Remove them and coat them in 1 tbsp corn flour

  • Refry them till crisp and keep it aside

  • Make besan paste

    Add 2 tbsp besan, 1/4th cup Nestlé A+ Curd, 1 tsp green chilly paste, water as required and mix it well

  • For the kadhi

    In a karahi, add 1 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp rai, 1/4th tsp jeera, 4 kadi patta, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th hing, the besan paste, water as required and cook for some time.

  • Add the fried kofta and mix it well

  • Add water as required, 1/4th tsp salt and mix well

  • Sprinkle 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves

  • Cover and cook it a thick consistency is acquired.
