Cheese Cauliflower Squares Recipe

Cheese is a great source of calcium, protein and fat. It also contains high amounts of vitamins A and B-12, along with other minerals. Cauliflower present in the square contains a good amount of vitamin C which is the richest antioxidant and helps fighting disease containing organisms.

1/2 Tbsp(2.0 gm) Coriander Leaves(Chopped)
1/4 Tsp(0.58 gm) Ajwain
3 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Cheese(Grated)
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly Powder
1/4 Tsp(0.53 gm) Dry Mango Powder
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
1/4 Tsp(0.41 gm) Dhania Powder
1/4 Tsp(0.44 gm) Jeera Powder
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/2 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
1/8 Tsp(0.4 ml) Oil
2 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1 Tbsp(7.0 gm) Maida
1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt
  • For Filling

    Heat 1 tsp butter, add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute till golden brown.

  • Add 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste, 1/4th tsp haldi,1/4th tsp jeera powder, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/4th tsp dry mango powder, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder and 1/4 tsp salt.

  • Mix all ingredients well.

  • Add 3 tbsp grated cheese, 2 tbsp grated cauliflower, 1/4 tsp ajwain, 1/2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

  • *For Dough*

    In 2 tbsp wheat flour, 1 tbsp maida, 1/8 tsp salt and water as required.

  • Knead into dough and roll out using rolling pin and add mixture.

  • Make square pockets & seal.

  • Heat oil for frying and deep fry squares till golden brown.

  • Serve hot.
