Chauli Beans with Kaccha Kela Sabji Recipe

This combination recipe is perfect recipe for the kids as it contain lots of nutritional goodness like carbs, proteins, potassium and many more. Its not too spicy so can easily accepted by the kids.

1/2 Cup(77.0 gm) Raw Banana (Chopped)
1 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Chawli
2 Tbsp(16.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)
2 Tbsp(25.0 gm) Tomato (Chopped)
1/8 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi
5 No.(0.55 gm) Kadi Patta
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)
1/8 Tsp(0.37 gm) Hing
1/2 Tsp(0.46 gm) Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • Soak 1 tbsp chauli overnight. Pressure cook and keep aside.

  • Steam 1/2 cup chopped raw banana and keep aside.

  • In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/4th tsp rai, 1/8th tsp hing, 5 kadi pattas and 2 tbsp chopped onion. Sauté till onions are translucent.

  • Then add 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/8th tsp haldi and 1/4th tsp red chilli powder. Add little water, mix it well and allow it simmer.

  • Once it has simmered well, add 1/4th cup steamed raw banana, 2 tbsp cooked chauli and 1/4th tsp salt. Mix well and let it cook for a while.

  • Garnish with 1/2 tsp coriander leaves.

  • Serve hot.
