Roti With Ghee Recipe

A staple flat indian bread made with whole wheat flour, the addition of ghee not only makes them flavourful but gives you the added benefit of Vitamin A and D.

0.75 Cup(109.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
2.0 Tsp(8.0 gm) Ghee
52.0 Ml(52.0 ml) Water
  • In a mixing bowl take 3/4 cup wheat flour, 1/4 tsp salt and mix well.

  • Pouring in a little water, knead it into a soft dough.

  • Rolling it into a ball form, coat it very lightly with whole wheat flour. Flatten and make it in a circular chapatti/roti shape using a rolling pin.

  • Heat a nonstick tava on a low flame and roast the chapatti/roti on it.

  • Allowing it to cook, make sure both sides are browned well.

  • Apply 1 tsp ghee and serve hot.
