Chana Gobi Fried Rice (Bengal Gram Cabbage Fried Rice) Recipe

Chana Gobi fried rice is a healthy, flavourful variation on traditional fried rice. It is made by combining cauliflower florets with spices and deep frying them in oil before combining them with cooked rice and sauces. Because chana is high in protein and fiber, this fried rice is nutritious and filling.

  • Prepreparation

    Cook 3 tbsp rice

  • Boil 1 tbsp channa

  • Blanch 10 florets of cauliflower

  • In a bowl, 3, add 1 tbsp corn flour, 1 tbsp maida, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder and water as required

  • Mix it well and keep it aside.

  • Heat oil for frying

  • Coat blanched cauliflower in prepared marination batter

  • Deep fry till it turns crispy

  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp chopped cabbage, 1 tbsp chopped capsicum, 1 tbsp chopped carrot and toss it well

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped spring onion, boiled 1 tbsp chana, fried cauliflower florets, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp vinegar, 1/2 tsp soya sauce, cooked 3 tbsp rice,1/2 tsp salt and toss them well

  • Serve it hot.
