Channa gobi fried rice is a twist in the normal fried rice. Channa is rich in protein and fiber, this fried rice is very healthy and makes it a wholesome meal. Gobi fried rice is a famous street food in India. It is prepared by mixing cauliflower florets with some spices and then deep frying it in oil after that combined with cooked rice and with sauces.
Cook 3 tbsp rice
Boil 1 tbsp channa
Blanch 10 florets of cauliflower
In a bowl, 3, add 1 tbsp corn flour, 1 tbsp maida, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder and water as required
Mix it well and keep it aside.
Heat oil for frying
Coat blanched cauliflower in prepared marination batter
Deep fry till it turns crispy
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp chopped cabbage, 1 tbsp chopped capsicum, 1 tbsp chopped carrot and toss it well
Add 1 tbsp chopped spring onion, boiled 1 tbsp chana, fried cauliflower florets, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp vinegar, 1/2 tsp soya sauce, cooked 3 tbsp rice,1/2 tsp salt and toss them well
Serve it hot.
