A dry protein rich side to be served with rotis or dal and rice adds flavor with the fresh aroma of Indian spices and makes any meal complete.
In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil.
Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 kadi patta leaves, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/8th tsp hing, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp dhaina powder.
Add the cooked chana dal.
Let it simmer, sprinkle 1/2 tsp salt.
Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
