- Step 1 Heat a pan with 2 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp jeera, 2 kadi patta , 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/8 tsp hing, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp dhania powder and saute well.
- Step 2 Add the cooked chana dal.
- Step 3 Simmer for 5 minutes and season with 1/2 tsp salt.
- Step 4 Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 5 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding grated ginger.
- Step 6 Serve hot.
