Chana Dal Recipe

  • In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 kadi patta leaves, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/8th tsp hing, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp dhaina powder and saute.

  • Soak and cook 2 tbsp chana dal.

  • Now add the cooked chana dal and let it simmer.

  • Add 1/2 tsp salt and garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.

  • Serve hot.
