A protein packed dry pulse vegetable, easy to cook and highly nutritious is a side dish that goes with any meal of your choice.
In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil.
Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 kadi patta leaves, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/8th tsp hing, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp dhaina powder and saute.
Soak and cook 2 tbsp chana dal.
Now add the cooked chana dal and let it simmer.
Add 1/2 tsp salt and garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
